May, May, May

We’re half way through 2024 already. The year’s flying by so it’s important to make sure we’re taking some time to reflect back on all the great things we’ve been up to, both in and out of work! This covers the highlights of the latter, with some of the best bits of May – the Month of the Megan’s:

• Meg Hall achieved new status in the company and was promoted to Air Quality Consultant! Already settling well into the role, we’re looking forward to seeing some more fabulous development of her work in the ammonia and odour sectors.
• Megan Pond joined the Redmore team, taking a seat in our Bristol office with Alex. After completing a number of roads projects and heading off to site for a couple of odour surveys already, Megan is off to a great start in air quality and I’m sure you will all agree we can’t wait to see her at the Team Development Day next week!
• We’ve had an abundance of Odour training provided by Ceri and Ger, covering odour abatement and how to write a solid odour report. Smells like we’re going to be getting some fab reports through from the team shortly with all this new knowledge.
• Lauren is starting to get the taste for Grecian air after she was asked to quote for another round of international air quality monitoring in Athens. Hopefully this will be another successful win for the monitoring team, celebrated by a flight to warmer climes. Applications for ‘Most jealous of Lauren’s trip’ will be opening shortly.
• Aaron kicked off another ADMS-6 project for StandardAero, assessing the potential for impacts as a result of emissions from existing boilers and a number of chemical scrubber stacks. This is a challenging project which requires detailed consideration of chromium emissions, as well as combustion gases.
• Alec completed a bioaerosol costing training session for the team, helping to improve understanding of bioaerosol projects across the team.

Let’s turn our focus now to June, with some exciting new and existing projects to get stuck in to, hopefully a strong month of sales and delivery, and of course the summer Social at Alton Towers!
