Georgia Birch Promoted To Air Quality Consultant

We’re delighted to share some fantastic news, Georgia Birch has been promoted to Air Quality Consultant

Since joining us last year, Georgia has made a real impact. With a BSc in Environmental Science from Sheffield Hallam University and a strong foundation in ecological habitats and environmental monitoring, she brought both knowledge and curiosity to the team from day one.

Her early experience in the steel industry sparked a particular interest in air quality and emissions management, something she explored in depth during her dissertation on emissions from ferrotitanium production. That same passion for tackling complex environmental challenges through data-driven analysis continues to shine in her work today.

Over the past year, Georgia has become an integral part of the team. She has worked on a wide variety of projects, modelling ammonia and industrial sources across sectors from dairy farms and poultry sheds to laboratories, factories, and even data centres. She has also successfully delivered an Appropriate Assessment to address a Natural England objection, demonstrating both technical capability and confidence.

Beyond her project work, Georgia has built strong relationships with clients in the agricultural sector, becoming a trusted advisor and go-to consultant for services such as Greenhouse Gas Emissions Assessments. Her ability to understand client needs while identifying new opportunities highlights both her commercial awareness and dedication.

Georgia consistently shows initiative, a willingness to take on new challenges, and a collaborative approach that supports the wider team.
