Behind the Projects: Meet Our Air Quality Consultants and Site Technicians

At Redmore Environmental, there’s a lot that goes into delivering. Behind the modelling, monitoring, data and reports is a team of people solving problems, sharing ideas and occasionally celebrating the small victory of getting a model to behave exactly as it should!

For the latest instalment of our Meet Our Team series, we’re getting to know our Air Quality Consultants and Site Technicians.

From time spent out on site to analysing data and delivering assessments, the roles may look different day-to-day, but each plays an important part in the work we deliver. We asked the team about the moments that build their confidence, the skills they most enjoy using and what they’ve learnt from those around them.

It’s the Small Wins

Not every career milestone has to be a big one. Sometimes, it’s getting a piece of work back from review that needed no changes, successfully completing  complex model, getting it to do what you want it to do.

“After a lot of analysis and problem-solving, everything finally clicks into place.”

For others, confidence comes from taking ownership of something completely new and seeing it through from start to finish.

“It reminds me of how far I have developed with Redmore.”

Those moments might look different across the team, but they all provide an opportunity to recognise just how much has been learnt along the way.

Everyone Has Their Thing

Despite working within the same wider team, everyone has a different part of the job they naturally gravitate towards. Numbers, modelling and data analysis are firm favourites, alongside communication, organisation, practical site work and project management. For others, it’s the problem-solving element that makes the role interesting working through an unexpected challenge, finding a practical solution and seeing everything come together.

With such a varied mix of work across the team, there’s plenty of opportunity for everyone to find the areas they enjoy most and develop their own strengths along the way.

Learning From Each Other

One thing that came through particularly strongly was how much the team learns from one another.

Whether it’s understanding new guidance, tackling an unfamiliar assessment, dealing with a challenge on site or simply talking through a difficult project, having different experiences and perspectives across the team makes a difference.

“Our work often involves situations where there isn’t a clear-cut answer.”

And that knowledge-sharing works both ways. Different roles bring different experiences, and being able to draw on each other’s technical and practical knowledge helps the whole team continue to develop.

It’s the combination of different skills, experiences and personalities that makes the team what it is. Whether out on site, working through project data or sharing knowledge with colleagues, everyone brings something different to Redmore and as the team continues to grow, there will always be something new to learn, a new challenge to take on and plenty of opportunities to develop along the way.
