Samuel Blake

Samuel graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a BSc (Hons) in Geography, where he developed a particular interest in air quality and the impact of traffic emissions within urban environments. His final-year dissertation focused on air quality in Portsmouth, assessing the effectiveness of the city’s Clean Air Zone in reducing emissions.

During his studies, Samuel particularly enjoyed consultancy-style projects, where he was able to combine his analytical and communication skills to produce clear, concise and accessible reports for a range of audiences. To further develop his environmental knowledge, he also became certified as Carbon Literate through the Carbon Literacy Project, completing training delivered by APSE.

Samuel’s key areas of interest include traffic emissions and urban air quality, with a particular focus on assessing and analysing trends to identify opportunities to mitigate and reduce environmental impacts.

Since joining Redmore, Samuel has been developing his technical knowledge and gaining practical experience across a variety of air quality consultancy projects. He is looking forward to continuing to broaden his expertise and contribute to a diverse range of projects as part of the Redmore team.
