Celebrating Success: Alec and Ben’s Well Deserved Promotions

We’re excited to share some brilliant news from the Redmore Environmental team , Alec and Ben have both been promoted, and we couldn’t be prouder.

These promotions recognise not only their technical ability, but the energy, curiosity and commitment they bring to the business every day.

Alec Promoted to Senior Air Quality Consultant

Alec has been promoted to Senior Air Quality Consultant, following three years of consistent growth, technical excellence and a reputation for being someone who can turn his hand to almost anything.

Joining Redmore Environmental in January 2022 as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant, Alec quickly became known as a true all-rounder. With an MSc in Environmental Practice from Manchester Metropolitan University (and an MEarthSci in Earth Science from the University of Manchester), he has supported a huge range of planning and permitting projects,  from detailed dispersion modelling to designing and delivering air quality monitoring programmes across the UK.

What really sets Alec apart is his multidisciplinary approach. He works across all teams within the business and is always the first to step in and help, whether that’s supporting complex regulatory compliance at waste facilities, undertaking greenhouse gas emission assessments, or mentoring colleagues to get the best outcomes on their projects.

Alec is passionate about making sure people feel supported, confident and able to ask questions, and his promotion reflects both his technical expertise and the positive culture he helps create at Redmore.

Ben Promoted to Air Quality Consultant

Ben has been promoted to Air Quality Consultant, moving up from his graduate role in recognition of his impressive technical development and growing responsibility across projects.

Ben holds an MSc with Distinction in Environmental Consultancy from the University of the West of England and a BSc in Biology from Manchester Metropolitan University. Since joining Redmore, he has been involved in odour assessments, permitting, industrial emissions analysis and complex monitoring programmes, earning a reputation for his analytical mindset and calm, solution-focused approach.

Ben thrives on problem-solving and takes real pride in seeing his reports accepted by regulators and local authorities. He’s passionate about using his work to support better air quality, stronger regulatory compliance and more informed decision-making across projects.

With a background in business development and marketing, Ben also brings valuable commercial insight to the team, strengthening client relationships and project delivery.
