Jethro set up Redmore Environmental in 2015 in order to provide specialist air quality consultancy services. The company has since grown to cover all aspects of atmospheric emissions, from monitoring and modelling to abatement and control system design. As a Director of the company, Jethro is responsible for both technical and commercial aspects of the business. Having worked as a professional environmental scientist for approximately 18 years he has conducted air quality and environmental studies for a range of projects including major road improvement and construction schemes, power stations, oil refineries and other large industrial complexes as well as a variety of residential schemes. These studies have been carried out for Environmental Statements, planning and permit applications and to investigate potential nuisance issues, as well as more bespoke reasons. Jethro often acts as a specialist advisor to Local Planning Authorities and governing bodies, in addition to coordinating multi-disciplinary environmental assessments and acting as Expert Witness at Planning Appeals and Public Inquiries.

Ger is a Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and Institute of Environmental Sciences and has worked as a professional environmental scientist for approximately 15-years. Ger joined Redmore Environmental in 2016 with an established background in air quality consultancy and technical assessment in support of a range of developments and installations throughout the UK. These include construction projects, power generation schemes, agricultural units, large-scale waste management plants, food and drink manufacturing facilities, as well as other major industrial complexes. Over his career, Ger has developed specialism within the field of odour consultancy and has frequently provided expert advice in relation to the impact of emissions from commercial, industrial and agricultural premises, as well as the design, management and performance monitoring of odour control measures and abatement plant. Ger currently has overall responsibility for odour consultancy, air quality monitoring and industrial emissions assessment work undertaken by the company. This includes management of indoor and ambient monitoring campaigns, as well as completion of air quality studies for a range of projects which are undertaken in support of Environmental Permit Applications, planning applications and regulatory compliance.

Emily is a Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and the Institute of Environmental Sciences. Emily has held a passion for the environment throughout her educational and professional career. Upon graduating from York University in 2014 with a degree in Environmental Geography she travelled to South Africa and spent a year working at a primate sanctuary. Emily began her career with Redmore Environmental in 2016 and as a specialist consultant she provides key consultancy services to a wide range of clients and has worked on a number of large scale projects throughout the minerals, agricultural and residential sectors. Though her key area of expertise lies in assessment of road vehicle exhaust emissions she plays a major role in the management and day to day operations of the company, specifically health and safety and training requirements of employees. Emily’s ability to perform under pressure and manage operational procedures ensures the smooth running of Redmore Environmental for both potential clients and the team members.

Pearl is a Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Sciences. Pearl graduated from the University of Lancaster in 2014 with a BSc (Hons) in Conservation Biology. Here she developed knowledge of key environmental issues such as global warming, air and water pollution, deforestation and habitat fragmentation and the associated adverse effects these have on biodiversity and ecosystems. After graduating, Pearl worked within the Environment Agency sampling team and was responsible for recording juvenile salmon and trout populations across the north-west region. She then moved on to work for an odour consultancy where she gained valuable knowledge of odour sampling techniques. Pearl began her career with Redmore Environmental in 2017 and has an established background undertaking complex dispersion modelling of industrial and agricultural emissions in support of planning applications throughout the UK as well as those for environmental permitting. She is particularly interested in the effects of increased atmospheric ammonia and nitrogen deposition on sensitive habitats in the UK and is our go to consultant for providing solutions to this complex issue.

Claire is a Chartered Scientist and Full Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and Institution of Environmental Sciences. Claire graduated from The University of Plymouth with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science and also holds a MSc from The University of Birmingham in Air Quality Management and Control. Claire has more than 16 years of Air Quality Consultancy experience as well as previously working as a Research Associate at The University of Birmingham on several air quality and health research studies. Claire has a wealth of air quality consultancy experience, including managing and delivering Air Quality and Odour Assessments for large scale Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Environmental Permits, planning applications, Development Consent Orders (DCOs) and Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs). Claire has worked on projects across the Residential, Commercial, Retail, Employment, Industrial, Renewables and Infrastructure sectors, on projects across the UK and internationally. Claire specialises in Client Relationship Management and Project Coordination, including managing multi-disciplinary projects from inception through to completion.

Alex is a Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and the Institute of Environmental Sciences. Alex is an experienced consultant within the environmental field having graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Climate Science from the University of East Anglia in 2014, specialising in tropospheric chemistry, meteorology and past and present greenhouse gas concentrations. Alex began his career with Redmore Environmental in 2023 to lead the Bristol Office, having previously gained a broad range of project experience, including managing and delivering technical Air Quality and Odour Assessments for large scale Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Major Infrastructure Developments and International Projects, alongside supporting planning/permit applications for Residential, Mixed Use, Industrial and Commercial developments. Alex specialises in supporting clients through the life cycle of a development, from due diligence advice at the concept stage, through providing technical reports for planning submission, to post planning support in developing mitigation strategies or discharging planning conditions.

Lauren is a Chartered Environmentalist and Full Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and Institution of Environmental Sciences. Lauren graduated from the University of Manchester in 2012 with a BSc(Hons) in Geology. Lauren has more than 10 years of Air Quality Consultancy experience, working with a variety of clients across multiple sectors including residential, educational, commercial and industrial . Lauren has delivered air quality and odour assessments for a range of projects from small residential developments to large Environmental Impacts Assessments (EIAs). Lauren is also involved in project management, communicating with clients, planners, local authorities and other consultants to ensure the smooth running of projects from start to finish, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met.

Away from consultancy work, Lauren is keen STEM ambassador and volunteers her time to promote STEM careers. Additionally, working with local primary schools to raise awareness of air quality and why it is important for our health and wellbeing.

Steven is a Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and the Institution of Environmental Sciences. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science and a PhD in Air Pollution. Steven has over 12 years’ experience in environmental consultancy, as well as four years specialising in air pollution research. Having worked within international, multi-disciplinary consultancies, Steven has successfully led and managed complex projects across both planning and permitting regimes. He has extensive experience delivering air quality assessments for a wide range of sectors, including industrial, energy and renewable, commercial and residential developments. Steven is experienced in liaising with regulators and project teams to ensure proportionate and pragmatic solutions are achieved. Steven joins Redmore Environmental to support the company’s broad service offering, with a particular focus on industrial and agricultural installations, drawing on his knowledge of regulatory frameworks and assessment methodologies.

Emily is a Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and the Institute of Environmental Sciences. Emily graduated from Kingston University in 2014 with a BSc (Hons) in Geography and again in 2017 with an MSc in Environmental Management. She began her career with Redmore Environmental in February 2019. Emily has specialist experience undertaking detailed dispersion modelling to assess the impact of road vehicle exhaust emissions in support of a range of developments throughout the UK. Emily also has experience providing technical support in relation to Field Odour Surveys. Alongside her responsibilities as a specialist consultant, Emily provides marketing support, helping to run the company’s social media pages, keeping customers informed about relevant internal and external developments.

Lauren is a Graduate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment. Lauren joined Redmore Environmental in 2019 following her graduation from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Management and Sustainability. Lauren has over 5 years’ experience within the air quality sector working on the design and delivery of bespoke Indoor and Ambient Air Quality Monitoring programs to investigate potential nuisance issues and address concerns regarding the impact of poor air quality. She has specialist knowledge of a range of applied sampling methods and associated technical standards which have been undertaken in support of residential, industrial and commercial developments.

Alec is an Associate Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and Institute of Environmental Sciences. He graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2021 with an MSc in Environmental Practice. Prior to undertaking his MSc, Alec graduated from the University of Manchester with a MEarthSci in Earth Sciences, which included field work in Spain, France and Kentucky.

Alec is a Senior Air Quality Consultant and has developed specialist expertise across a broad range of projects, enjoying taking a multidisciplinary approach. This has included managing and delivering Air Quality, Odour and Climate Change Assessments for large scale Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), as well as providing key consultancy services on agricultural, minerals and residential schemes.

Alongside proving technical expertise, Alec also plays a major role in staff development through the organisation and delivery of regular training sessions to the team, ensuring that colleagues have the knowledge, skills and confidence required to perform their roles effectively and continue developing professionally

Megan is an Associate Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and Intitute of Environmental Sciences. She graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2020 with a BSc in Geography with a 2:1. Megan has an education in Environmental Processes and Conservation. She focused her dissertation on the Relationship between Air Quality and Atmospheric Temperatures.

Megan began her career at Redmore Environmental in May 2023 as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant and has since progressed to the position of Senior Air Quality Consultant. During her time at Redmore, Megan has become a key part of team, focusing on assessing the impact of agricultural emissions on ecological designations. She has worked on a number of applications through the UK, including permitting applications for intensive poultry and pig facilities as well as planning applications for livestock developments.

As well as the technical work she provides, Megan also heads organising and scheduling training for the wider team to help develop technical and professional skills.

Callum is an Associate Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM) and the Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES). He graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2023 with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science, which included a period of international study at Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia.

Callum joined Redmore in June 2023 as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant and has since progressed to the position of Senior Air Quality Consultant. During this time, he has developed specialist expertise in environmental monitoring and now acts as Commercial Lead for the Air Quality Monitoring team, helping to oversee the commercial and operational delivery of monitoring projects across the UK.

His experience spans construction dust, ambient air quality, bioaerosol and indoor air quality monitoring across a diverse range of construction, infrastructure, industrial and waste-sector developments. He is experienced in delivering monitoring programmes tailored to site-specific requirements, providing clients with robust environmental data to inform project delivery and demonstrate compliance.

Callum also has experience supporting indoor air quality requirements associated with sustainability accreditation schemes, alongside assisting clients with air quality considerations relating to planning and environmental permitting.

Natasha is an Associate Member of both the Institute of Air Quality Management and the Institution of Environmental Sciences. She graduated from Edge Hill University in 2021 with a First Class BSc (Hons) in Geography and subsequently completed an MSc in Environmental Science at the University of Liverpool, graduating with Distinction in 2023.

Natasha began her career with Redmore in September 2023 as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant and has since progressed to the position of Senior Air Quality Consultant. She has developed specialist expertise in air quality assessments, particularly in the application of detailed atmospheric dispersion modelling to assess the impacts of road traffic emissions in support of a wide range of developments across the UK. Natasha also has extensive experience working on Environmental Impact Assessments and has contributed to the delivery of air quality assessments for residential, commercial and mixed-use developments. She has also undertaken a range of industrial emissions and odour assessments, providing technical support throughout the planning and environmental permitting processes.

Georgia is an experienced Office Manager with extensive knowledge in streamlining operations and enhancing organisational efficiency. With a passion for creating well-structured and productive work environments, she supports the smooth running of day-to-day activities. Before joining, Georgia was a Business Administration Manager for a women’s charity, where she optimised processes and systems to improve functionality. Her entrepreneurial journey has developed her leadership, adaptability, and strategic thinking skills as she successfully owned and operated her own business from the age of 20 to 22. Georgia holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Trafford College and was drawn to Redmore due to its alignment with her professional and personal values. Since joining the team, she has collaborated closely with both the Business Development and Social Media teams, providing support across various areas of the business.

Megan graduated from university with a first-class BSc in Chemistry in 2023. During her studies, she completed modules in atmospheric and environmental chemistry and a dissertation in photochemical release of iodine gases from Arctic maritime snow. This kick-started her interest in air quality and the atmosphere, and she subsequently joined Redmore Environmental as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant in May 2024 as part of the Bristol team.

During her time at the company, she has focused on dispersion modelling of road vehicle exhaust emissions using ADMS-Roads and has undertaken a number of complex projects in support of planning applications across the UK. Megan also has experience completing Odour Assessments, including Field Odour Surveys, Odour Risk Assessments, Kitchen Odour Assessments and dispersion modelling using ADMS-6.

Cody graduated from Durham University in 2024 with a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Chemistry, where she developed an appreciation for the scale of industrial emissions and the impact of chemicals on air quality. This sparked her interest in atmospheric chemistry and air quality, leading to the beginning of her career with Redmore Environmental as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant in 2024.

Since joining the team, Cody has progressed to the position of Air Quality Consultant and is an Associate Member of both the Institute of Air Quality Management and the Institution of Environmental Sciences. She has developed strong technical expertise in Air Quality Assessments, with particular experience in the use of detailed dispersion modelling to assess the air quality impacts of industrial emissions in support of a wide range of developments throughout the UK. Cody has also worked on a diverse range of projects, including Air Quality Assessments, Construction and Mineral Dust Assessments, Ambient Air Quality and Bioaerosol Monitoring and Environmental Impact Assessments. She provides technical support throughout planning and Environmental Permit processes, delivering high-quality assessments and advice to support successful project outcomes.

Ben is Air Quality Consultant with an MSc with Distinction in Environmental Consultancy from the University of the West of England and a BSc in Biology from Manchester Metropolitan University. During his masters he undertook a placement working in the field of air quality and wrote his dissertation on the use of AI in Renewable Energy Systems. Prior to his masters, he spent time managing an activities park, later joining a mortgage broker, developing the marketing department and helped restructure their website alongside his role as a commercial mortgage advisor. Since joining Redmore Environmental, Ben has developed experience in a wide range of assessments through the UK and Ireland in support of planning and permitting applications including industrial emissions modelling, odour modelling, odour monitoring and plenty more. Since joining, he has been applying his previous experience in business development and project handling to dive in headfirst and build his career with Redmore Environmental

Charlotte is an Air Quality Consultant with a BSc in Environmental Science from the University of Liverpool, where she graduated in 2024. During her studies, she explored various disciplines within the environmental sector, developing a particular interest in scientific report writing and field studies, making Redmore Environmental a perfect fit for her career aspirations. During her time at Redmore, she has thrown herself into over 80 projects, from ADMS-Roads dispersion modelling for road vehicle emissions, leading Field Odour Surveys and completing Environmental Statement Chapters.  Driven by a passion for sustainability and conservation, she is eager to expand her knowledge and contribute to environmental solutions as she grows with the company.

Francine is an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Science. She joined the team in April 2025 after graduating with a First-Class BSc in Environmental Geoscience from the University of Bristol. Francine has worked on a variety of projects, including air quality assessments, odour assessments and Environmental Impact Assessments in support of residential, commercial and industrial developments. She has developed particular expertise in the application of detailed atmospheric dispersion modelling to assess the impacts of road traffic emissions, supporting a wide range of developments across the UK.

Georgia holds a BSc in Environmental Science from Sheffield Hallam University, where she developed a strong foundation in ecological habitats and environmental monitoring. Her academic studies were complemented by hands-on experience in the steel industry, where she became particularly interested in air quality and emissions management.

This interest culminated in her dissertation, which focused on emissions from ferrotitanium production. Her research explored the variable factors influencing the release of hazardous pollutants, reflecting her commitment to addressing complex environmental challenges through data-driven analysis.

Georgia began her career with Redmore in May 2025 as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant and has since progressed to the position of Air Quality Consultant. She has developed specialist expertise in air quality assessments, particularly with a focus on dispersion modelling of agricultural and industrial emissions supporting a wide range of planning and permitted developments across the UK.

Rachel graduated from Edge Hill University in 2023 with an MSc (hons) in Conservation management and a BSc in Geo-Environmental hazards. Here she developed knowledge of key environmental issues such as global warming, air and water pollution, deforestation and habitat fragmentation and the associated adverse effects these have on biodiversity and ecosystems. During her masters, Rachel worked in a summer sampling team, taking part in electric fishing surveys and bathing water quality surveys. Through this Rachel found her love for field work, sampling and data collection and is now the very first Air Quality Monitoring Technician at Redmore Environmental.

Sam has joined Redmore Environmental as a Monitoring Technician, bringing a wealth of technical expertise and hands-on experience to the team. With a Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a Level 4 qualification in Building Services Engineering, Sam has built a strong foundation in mechanical systems, building infrastructure, and sustainable engineering solutions. With experience as a Junior Electrical Design Engineer and a Surface Repair Technician, Sam has developed a unique skill set that blends design knowledge with real-world problem-solving abilities. His background includes working on energy-efficient building systems, using sustainable materials, and applying innovative repair techniques that minimise environmental impact. This combination of analytical expertise and hands-on experience allows Sam to approach projects with a well-rounded, solution-driven mindset, ensuring high-quality and sustainable outcomes. Passionate about engineering and environmental responsibility, Sam is committed to delivering efficient, reliable, and commercial solutions to assist our clients with their requirements.

Emily graduated from the University of Leeds in 2024 with a First-Class MChem, BSc in Medicinal Chemistry. During her degree, she developed a strong interest in air quality and modelling through modules in atmospheric chemistry, climate change, and policy. Her final year project, conducted in an academic research laboratory, provided her with valuable experience in project management, data analysis, and scientific report writing.

Prior to joining Redmore environmental, Emily gained transferable skills in organisation and communication through her hospitality and volunteering experience. Since joining the team in September 2025 as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant, she has contributed to a variety of air quality assessments.

Emily’s work at Redmore environmental allows her to make a tangible impact on environmental compliance and planning, helping to mitigate the effects of air pollution on human health and the environment, furthering her passion for sustainability and air quality.

Eve holds a First-Class BSc in University of Leeds Environmental Science, where she developed a strong interest in atmospheric science and meteorology through her studies in air quality and atmospheric physics. Her final-year research project involved analysing complex satellite observations and reanalysis data to investigate the unique characteristics of a Sumatra squall line in Southeast Asia, strengthening her technical expertise in environmental data analysis.

Prior to joining Redmore Environmental, Eve developed strong communication and organisational skills through experience working in fast-paced environments. She brings enthusiasm and passion for air quality and atmospheric science to her role and looks forward to further developing her expertise in data analysis and atmospheric modelling .

Archie graduated from University of Manchester in 2024 with a First-Class MEnvSci from University of Manchester, where modules focused on water, soil, and air chemical contamination. His academic studies were complemented by a year abroad in the Netherlands, where he took several GIS courses. Air quality became a strong focus of his studies, with his dissertation examining the lack of suitable methodologies to study tyre wear particles in the atmosphere, a largely overlooked source of airborne microplastics.

Archie has worked in several technician jobs within the environmental sector, most recently involved with preparing sampling media for air quality testing. He is keen to bring his technical background knowledge to consultancy, as well as his data analytical skills. He is enthusiastic about sustainability and hopes to contribute to the exciting work done by Redmore Environmental.

Lucie Jones graduated from the University of Leeds with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science, where she developed a strong interest in environmental resource management and atmospheric pollution.

During her studies, Lucie completed a dissertation investigating the relative contributions of anthropogenic and natural PM2.5 sources to long-term air quality degradation across the United States and the relationship with regional health outcomes. This research involved the application of statistical analysis, environmental data interpretation, and GIS mapping techniques to assess complex air quality trends.

Lucie is particularly interested in industrial emissions, air quality assessment and air dispersion modelling. She is excited to begin her career with Redmore Environmental, applying her technical knowledge to support the delivery of robust and environmentally responsible solutions. Drawn to Redmore’s expertise and reputation within the industry, Lucie looks forward to contributing to a wide range of projects while continuing to develop her knowledge and skills in air quality consultancy.

Madeleine graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2026 with a First-Class BSc in Environmental Science with a Year Abroad. During her degree, she developed a strong interest in air quality through modules in sustainability, climate change and statistics. Her dissertation explored the relationship between ambient PM2.5 pollution, paediatric respiratory hospital admissions and deprivation factors across Liverpool. Using coding and GIS software, she mapped PM2.5 exposure and carried out statistical analysis to investigate the association between these factors.

During her year abroad in the United States, Madeleine gained valuable communication and interpersonal skills by studying alongside students from across the world. This experience broadened her perspective and enhanced her ability to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds.

Madeleine’s academic background and passion for understanding the impacts of air pollution on human health provide a strong foundation for her role at Redmore Environmental.
