Madeleine Millard Joins Redmore Environmental as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant

MM

We’re delighted to welcome Madeleine Millard to the Redmore Environmental team as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant.

Madeleine joins us after graduating from the University of Liverpool in 2026 with a First-Class BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science with a Year Abroad. Throughout her degree, she developed a strong interest in air quality, sustainability and climate change, while also building a solid foundation in statistical analysis and environmental research. These areas of study sparked a particular interest in the relationship between air pollution and human health.

As part of her degree, Madeleine spent a year studying in the United States, where she had the opportunity to work alongside students from across the globe. The experience strengthened her communication and collaboration skills, while providing valuable insight into different perspectives on environmental challenges and the importance of working across cultures to develop effective solutions.

For her dissertation, Madeleine explored the relationship between ambient PM2.5 pollution, paediatric respiratory hospital admissions and deprivation factors across Liverpool. Using coding and GIS software, she mapped PM2.5 exposure throughout the city before undertaking statistical analysis to investigate the association between pollution levels, health outcomes and socioeconomic factors. Through this research, Madeleine further developed her analytical skills and strengthened her interest in understanding how air quality can influence public health.

Madeleine was drawn to Redmore Environmental because of the company’s reputation for excellence within the air quality sector and the opportunity to continue applying scientific research through environmental consultancy. She was particularly keen to join a team where she could continue developing her technical knowledge while contributing to projects that make a meaningful difference to the environment.

Madeleine’s passion for air quality, combined with her analytical approach and research experience, provides a strong foundation for delivering a high-quality, evidence-led service to clients. Her interest in understanding the relationship between air pollution and human health will continue to shape her technical expertise as she develops her career at Redmore Environmental.

Please join us in welcoming Madeleine to the team.
