Redmore Environmental is looking for an ambitious Graduate Air Quality Consultant to join our Land Development team in Bristol.

This is an opportunity to work on technically varied projects across residential, commercial, retail, industrial, mixed-use and infrastructure development while developing your expertise within one of the UK’s leading independent air quality consultancies.

Our vision is to be recognised as trusted leaders in air quality consultancy, delivering expert advice and the highest standards of service. We combine technical excellence with a collaborative environment where every team member is supported to develop and contribute to the success of the business.

This role offers early responsibility and the opportunity to build strong technical foundations. We are looking for someone motivated to learn, take ownership of their development and play an active role in the future of the company.

Why This Role is Different

Redmore Environmental is an independent consultancy where graduates are given real responsibility from an early stage.

You will be part of a specialist Land Development team supporting clients through the planning process and helping to address air quality issues associated with new development.

You will not be limited to a narrow role. Instead, you will gain exposure across a wide range of project types and develop both technical and professional skills.

You will be part of a team where:

  • Technical excellence and learning are prioritised
  • Collaboration and knowledge sharing are integral to how we work
  • You are supported to develop quickly through hands-on experience
  • Every team member contributes to the future direction of the business

We believe the best outcomes are achieved through expertise, teamwork and a shared commitment to quality.

The Impact You Will Have

You will support the delivery of air quality projects that inform planning decisions and help clients deliver high-quality, sustainable development.

Your work will contribute to assessments that consider the relationship between new development, transport emissions, construction impacts, odour risk, greenhouse gas emissions and local air quality constraints.

You will develop skills in:

  • Air quality assessments for planning applications
  • Construction dust assessments and Dust Management Plans
  • Road traffic emissions modelling and data analysis
  • Odour risk assessments and site suitability appraisals
  • Greenhouse gas and climate change assessments
  • Air quality monitoring campaigns
  • Technical report writing and quality assurance
  • Supporting project delivery and client communication

Projects will range from small residential schemes to large mixed-use developments and infrastructure-related assessments.

What Success Looks Like

Within your first 12 months you will:

  • Develop a strong understanding of air quality assessment methods for planning
  • Contribute to the delivery of technical reports and project outputs
  • Build confidence in data analysis, emissions calculations and interpretation
  • Support monitoring campaigns and fieldwork activities
  • Work effectively across multiple projects and deadlines
  • Begin to take ownership of defined elements of project delivery

  • Works well both independently and as part of a team
  • Is organised and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Is interested in how air quality influences planning, design and development
