Supporting Manchester Youth Zone: Our 2025 Community Impact

At Redmore Environmental, we believe in creating opportunities and support for the communities around us. In 2025, our team was privileged to partner with Manchester Youth Zone, a lifeline for over 3,700 young people in Harpurhey. Their mission to provide a safe space, meals, sports, arts, STEM learning, mentoring, and vital social support resonated deeply with our values of sustainability, care, and long-term impact.

Throughout the year, our team embraced a variety of fundraising initiatives and awareness campaigns to support Manchester Youth Zone, and together, we smashed our target of raising £2,000 and we actually raised a whopping £3976

Highlights of Our 2025 Charity Efforts:

• Fancy Dress Fundraiser & Quizzes We kicked off 2025 with a lively fancy-dress fundraiser and hosted charity quizzes throughout the year, bringing the team together while raising awareness and funds.
• Run Media City 5K Relay  On 25 September 2025 our team laced up for the 5K relay run through Salford, with every step helping to raise funds for the charity.
• Christmas Wishing Tree  This festive season, our Wishing Tree initiative gave team members, clients, and our local community the chance to brighten a child’s Christmas. Each tag represented a child in Manchester who might otherwise go without a gift, and our collective efforts ensured every tag was taken.
• Online Christmas Raffle  We hosted a charity raffle with prizes worth over £100, generously donated by local businesses including Manchester Kingpins, Beauty Bay, and HYATT Hotels. All proceeds went directly to supporting Manchester Youth Zone.
• Easter Egg Donations Springtime saw our team contributing Easter treats, spreading joy to young people at Manchester Youth Zone, donating over 50 Easter eggs to children, who otherwise might have gone without.

2025 has been an incredible year of giving, showing what a committed team and community can achieve together. Every donation, big or small, helped provide meals, creative workshops, sporting opportunities, and life-changing pathways for young people who deserved the very best start in life.
