Welcome Natasha!

We are delighted to announce that Natasha Jones has recently joined the Manchester team as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant. Natasha graduated with a first-class BSc in Geography from Edge Hill University in 2021 and subsequently completed her MSc in Environmental Science at the University of Liverpool. During her studies, Natasha focused her undergraduate dissertation on the spatial distribution of particulate pollution around Manchester Airport. From this research, Natasha gained a keen interest in pollution and decided to focus her master’s thesis on the relationship between particulate matter and childhood asthma in Liverpool. As part of her study, she explored ambient particulate matter concentrations and used SEM-EDS analysis on primary particulate samples to assess particles composition, morphology and source. In addition, Natasha gained further experience in air quality through an independent research project that investigated different ventilation methods on indoor PM2.5 levels during cooking.

“I joined the Redmore Environmental team in September 2023 as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant. From the minute I stepped into the office I was met with such warmth and support by the team which really helped ease any first day nerves. The training I have received is well-structured and extremely supportive. In such a short amount of time I have been given lots of responsibilities and have learnt so much from the team. Within my first month I have completed a range of projects and attended numerous sites to assist in bioaerosol, indoor air quality and odour monitoring. I am really looking forward to continuing my journey at Redmore Environmental and feel extremely lucky to be part of such a wonderful team!”

We look forward to watching Natasha develop as a consultant and celebrating her successes along the way.
