Jethro set up Redmore Environmental in 2015 in order to provide specialist air quality consultancy services. The company has since grown to cover all aspects of atmospheric emissions, from monitoring and modelling to abatement and control system design.
As a Director of the company, Jethro is responsible for both technical and commercial aspects of the business. Having worked as a professional environmental scientist for approximately 16 years he has conducted air quality and environmental studies for a range of projects including major road improvement and construction schemes, power stations, oil refineries and other large industrial complexes as well as a variety of residential schemes. These studies have been carried out for Environmental Statements, planning and permit applications and to investigate potential nuisance issues.
Jethro often acts as a specialist advisor to Local Planning Authorities and governing bodies, in addition to coordinating multi-disciplinary environmental assessments and acting as Expert Witness at Planning Appeals and Public Inquiries.

Name: Ger Parry
Role: Associate Director
Ger is a Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and Institute of Environmental Sciences and has worked as a professional environmental scientist for approximately 13-years.
Ger joined Redmore Environmental in 2016 with an established background in air quality consultancy and technical assessment in support of a range of developments and installations throughout the UK. These include construction projects, power generation schemes, agricultural units, large-scale waste management plants, food and drink manufacturing facilities, as well as other major industrial complexes.
Over his career, Ger has developed specialism within the field of odour consultancy and has frequently provided expert advice in relation to the impact of emissions from commercial, industrial and agricultural premises, as well as the design, management and performance monitoring of odour control measures and abatement plant.
Ger currently has overall responsibility for odour consultancy, air quality monitoring and industrial emissions assessment work undertaken by the company. This includes management of indoor and ambient monitoring campaigns, as well as completion of air quality studies for a range of projects which are undertaken in support of Environmental Permit Applications, planning applications and regulatory compliance.

Name: Emily Pears-Ryding

Emily is a Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Sciences.
Emily has held a passion for the environment throughout her educational and professional career. Upon graduating from York University in 2014 with a degree in Environmental Geography she travelled to South Africa and spent a year working at a primate sanctuary. Emily began her career with Redmore Environmental in 2016 and as a specialist consultant she provides key consultancy services to a wide range of clients and has worked on a number of large scale projects throughout the minerals, agricultural and residential sectors.
Though her key area of expertise lies in assessment of road vehicle exhaust emissions she plays a major role in the management and undertaking of monitoring projects across the UK, specifically bioaerosol assessments. Emily’s ability to perform under pressure and determine complex management techniques ensures that concerns regarding the impact of bioaerosol emissions are addressed effectively to ensure the best outcome for all is achieved.

Name: Pearl Hutchinson
Role: Principal Air Quality Consultant
Pearl is a Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Sciences.
Pearl graduated from the University of Lancaster in 2014 with a BSc (Hons) in Conservation Biology. Here she developed knowledge of key environmental issues such as global warming, air and water pollution, deforestation and habitat fragmentation and the associated adverse effects these have on biodiversity and ecosystems. After graduating, Pearl worked within the sampling team and was responsible for recording juvenile salmon and trout populations across the north-west region. She then moved on to work for an odour consultancy where she gained valuable knowledge of odour sampling techniques.
Pearl began her career with Redmore Environmental in 2017 and has an established background undertaking complex dispersion modelling of industrial and agricultural emissions in support of planning applications throughout the UK as well as those for environmental permitting. She is particularly interested in the effects of increased atmospheric ammonia and nitrogen deposition on sensitive habitats in the UK and is our go to consultant for providing solutions to this complex issue.

Amelia is an Associate Member of the Institute of Air Quality Management and Institute of Environmental Sciences.
Amelia graduated from the University of Manchester in 2017 with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science and has worked in the environmental sector for the last 4 years. She began her career in consultancy with Redmore Environmental in 2018 and has specialist experience undertaking detailed dispersion modelling to assess the impact of road vehicle exhaust emissions in support of a range of retail, residential and commercial developments throughout the UK, specifically for Environmental Impact Assessments. She also provides technical support in relation to Construction Dust Assessments, Mineral Dust Assessments and Low Emission Strategies.
Alongside her responsibilities as a specialist consultant, Amelia provides marketing support, helping to run the company’s social media pages, keeping customers informed about relevant internal and external developments.

Emily graduated from Kingston University in 2014 with a BSc (Hons) in Geography and again in 2017 with a MSc in Environmental Management. She began her career with Redmore Environmental in 2019 and has worked in the environmental sector for the last 3 years. Emily has specialist experience investigating issues surrounding existing and proposed odour sources, providing technical support in relation to Field Odour Surveys and detailed dispersion modelling of agricultural and industrial sources.

As a specialist Air Quality Consultant, he provides technical support in the form of Air Quality Dispersion Modelling for a range of planning applications throughout the UK. He also offers technical support in relation to Ambient Air Quality Monitoring and has experience designing and implementing bespoke monitoring programs to address concerns regarding the impact of poor air quality.

Lauren joined Redmore Environmental in 2019 following her graduation from Manchester Metropolitan University with a BSc (Hons) in Environmental Management and Sustainability. Lauren has experience designing and implementing bespoke Indoor and Ambient Air Quality Monitoring programs to investigate potential nuisance issues and address concerns regarding the impact of poor air quality.
Lauren has specialist knowledge of the Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) scheme and can provide technical support in relation to site-specific Indoor Air Quality Plans as well as Indoor Air Quality Testing.

Liam joined Redmore Environmental in 2019 following his graduation with a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University. Liam has an educational grounding in engineering and has previous experience working in the automotive industry where he helped to develop future hybrid vehicles.
Liam has experience providing technical support at all stages of Medium Combustion Plant permitting as well as specialist knowledge undertaking detailed dispersion modelling to assess the impact of industrial emissions at human and ecological receptors.

Anna joined Redmore Environmental as an Air Quality Consultant in September 2020 following completion of her PhD in Atmospheric Chemistry at the University of Leeds. She has presented her research at a number of international conferences including the American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting in San Francisco and was cited within the IPCC AR6 Climate Change 2021 report in relation to the revised atmospheric lifetime and Global Warming Potential of sulfur hexafluoride.
Anna’s knowledge of atmospheric chemistry alongside 3 years’ experience in the air quality sector has allowed her to establish a technical understanding of complex environmental projects. Anna often provides support in relation to Environmental Permit Applications throughout the UK.

Ceri is a Graduate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.
Ceri graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2019 with a MSc (Hons) in Environmental Consultancy and joined our team as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant in January 2021. Ceri has an educational grounding in ecology and has previous experience as a seasonal ecologist.
Ceri is passionate about consultancy and in providing technical environmental assessments in support of planning applications throughout the UK, specifically in relation to odour and lighting.

She has experience working on a range of environmental projects in support of planning applications throughout the UK and is dedicated to delivering client-focused solutions. Since joining the team, Imo has undertaken a range dispersion modelling assessments alongside Indoor Air Quality Testing and a number of Indoor Air Quality Plans.

Michael joined Redmore Environmental as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant in May 2021 following completion of his PhD at the University of Edinburgh. Michael’s research examined the key physical and chemical processes impacting Beijing's air quality, utilising the ADMS modelling software. Throughout his PhD, Michael worked closely with supervisors from Cambridge Environmental Research Consultants and presented a seminar at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Centre, Washington D.C. outlining his research.

Elliott joined Redmore as a Graduate Air Quality Consultant in January 2022 following completion of his MSc in Environment and Climate Change at the University of Liverpool. During his studies, Elliot developed knowledge of the environmental sciences and completed a number of air quality projects including an independent air quality monitoring project. Since joining the team, Elliot has focussed on modelling industrial and agricultural emissions in support of planning and permit applications throughout the UK.
